's Book Cover contest, in which the objective was to design a cover for an existing book. The book I chose was 'The Velveteen Rabbit', one of my favourites from when I was little.

Overall
Vision Originality Technique ImpactIt's wonderful to see someone putting so much time and effort into a piece of their childhood.
This book was one of my favourites as a child and it's really quite moving to see it potrayed so beautifully in this gorgeous painting.
Everyone has their own view of book characters, but I think this is what everyone has in mind when they read the story.
The detail put into this piece is impressive, from the lines in the floorboards, to the hair on the rocking horse and I can only envy RJDaae's talent.
Hopefully we'll see more paintings liek this from this artist in the future.
